The right temperature very fast
|
Each VebaBox is within 20 minutes on the right temperature. At the final control in the factory the VebaBox has passed a severe inspection.

Range of settings
|
A cooling VebaBox is adjustable between 0°C and +10°C. A freezing VebaBox is adjustable Between -18°C and +10°C( this one can be used for as well cooling or freezing)

Read out temperatures
|
The box is equipped with a temperature read out ( or dashboard readout depending on the chosen option) This reading displays the actual and the set temperature. The display furthermore bring s out an alarm..

Max. ambient temperature
|
The VebaBox characterizes itself by its excellent cooling performances. A cooling VebaBox functions without any problems in an ambient temperature from +40°C till +45°C.

Low power consumption, economical on fuel
|
Because of the especially developed high performance cooling-engines by Veba the VebaBox will consume very little power. That is why the dynamo is less charged and is the fuel-consumption less compared with a cooling van.

Roof-fan Yes/No
|
Due to the high output of the VebaBox compared with a cooling van the heat-emission in the cargo space is minimal. It is for sure that the temperature in the cargo space will not exceed more than 5 degrees when the VebaBox is cooling on full power. In general this will be no problem, because it is known that the VebaBox functions without any problem up to 40°C/+45°C. However by heavy solar radiation the temperature in the car can go up
Intensively especially when the car is parked in the sun and completely shut( cooling on) The temperature in practice during the trip will not raise too much because of the (natural) ventilation in the cargo space. We manage also the next safe fixed rule : Only if the VebaBox has to keep on cooling when the car holds (one of the advantages compared to a cooling van) We do recommend a thermostatic switched** roof-fan. A roof-fan will be purchased together with the battery power pack. The power for the VebaBox while parking comes then from the battery power pack ( to prevent at long stay a starting problem) The roof-fan will then be connected at the battery power pack to ensure without any problem ( when the engine is turned off) the functioning of the roof-fan. **Thermostatically switched roof-fan means that this will be switched on/off by a thermostate as the temperature rise in the cargo space. Veba supplies standard thermostats for this purpose which can be easily connected to the roof-fan.
